Moody days have befallen the lands, as strong cold winds from the north have shaken everything up. It's quite freezing outside these days, which makes shooting unbearable. That was the case in my latest venture this past weekend. I wanted to go outside the city to shoot the river Neretva from the so called Aviation Bridge in the southern outskirts. I couldn't even manage to step onto the bridge from the strong wind here.

ReplyDeleteThanks. I wished I could have stayed here longer but the wind was too strong. I did manage to get some other moody landscapes on this day though, which I'll show you tomorrow.

Finally the grey, dark days have moved away from here, to reveal blue sky's and even some sunshine. I'd missed them so much. It's freezing and icy but I'd much prefer this kind of weather.

We're having the same weather now. It's sunny, but very cold. This morning the water in the garden hose froze completely. :)

ReplyDeleteNice photos of the river and town and mountains beyond it. It has been cold here, also, but our cold weather is very dry with the low humidity, and our altitude makes the sun feel very warm, so on a sunny day one is able to do a lot outdoors.

ReplyDeleteThat's not Mostar in the far background in these shots. Those are some of the surrounding places. I'm shooting towards east here, Mostar would be to the left side in these images.

Mersad, we having the same weather here in Kentucky. Dreary, cold days. Shooting outside is a favorite of mine, but not when it is so cold. You have captured your scenery quite well.
