Awakenings [Through My Lens Nr. 23]

It has finally happened. Fresh snowfalls have cover the land (and least the north of the country), and just in time too at the start of the new year. Welcome back to the first edition of "Through my Lens" in 2016. I hope to see your contributions as I have really come to love peeking through your lens last year. There is always so much to see. I hope you are enjoying a beautiful winter as well (at least if you like snow). Here are some images from the snowed in Sarajevo.

And while snowy afternoons have their charm, for me snow is best enjoyed when dusk and night arrive, for it's then when the magic light of the city awakens the surroundings.

Now I want to see what you have been up to. Link down below and share with the rest of us!

  2. Great snowy scenes, Mersad. Snow with freezing rain is falling here, making driving impossible (we live in the hills). But it's beautiful.
    Thanks for hosting the link-up!

  12. I love to see the first flurries of fresh snow Mersad and wish we had a little here in Bonnie Scotland. Unfortunately, we have floods, horrendous wind and it's so dark it's like night!
I had a new camera for Christmas and need to become acquainted with it, but it is proving difficult in such dark conditions.
Happy New Year to you and I wish you all the best for 2016. Thanks also for hosting this great link! ;D
