Capljina is my hometown and I have shown it you before on this blog. This past weekend I got to visit again, this time for lunch in a really good pizzeria/restaurant there, called "Calipso". It was a beautiful day, blue skies, sunny and warm. The streets were filled with people walking and enjoying the day (even though I somehow managed to shoot around them). My sister stopped in a small boutique there first, since a green dress in the window caught her attention. After that we went inside the pizzeria and ordered lunch.
We arrived a bit early for lunch there, so that I could get some nice photos, but the place filled up very quickly after we sat down. It's very busy here. My entree is called "Day and Night". It's a grilled chicken breast with creamy cheese sauce and a piece of thin grilled steak coated with bacon and gravy. Served with french fries on the side. My sister had chicken cubes with shrimps in a curry sauce with rice on the side. The third entree was grilled chicken breast with blue cheese sauce. All very delicious!
I hope you enjoyed the images form our lunch, and If you haven't eaten yet, I'm sorry if these got you hungry.
You have a lovely home town!
