Sunset Landscapes above Mostar

The fields above Mostar have been a constant and welcome joy to photograph. Yes, these shots were taken during warmer days last year, but I didn't get a chance to post them until now. They show the sunset landscapes in the foothills of mountain Velez. All of them are overlooking the city of Mostar, which is closely nested in the valley beneath. I hope you'll enjoy these landscape shots and I hope that warmer and sunnier days will return soon, so that I can go out and take some new photos.

These plains are very wide and open, and even though you can see so much at once, there are indeed many nooks and crannies which you'll have to search for in order to discover them. I like the isolation here, but also the abundance of nature. Yes it's lonely, but you never feel alone.

This road, even though small and seemingly unimportant, can actually take you far away. It pierces the mountains and plains and connects to other side roads which further lead to main roads. A whole lot of Herzegovina's wild nature could be explored by taking this route.

As the sun it setting, the glow of the sun rays are hitting the trees and fields, creating a blanket of warmth and coziness. I wish you all a happy weekend ahead.
