Moody Times [Through My Lens Nr. 229]

There is something so unapologetically wonderful about moody times in nature. It showcases that darkness can be equally part of life, just as a clear blue sky. Though a lot can change during those times, it's truly fascinating to see how much there is left unafected by it. These images were taken in the outskirts of Mostar, as the cold wind blowing strong, and clouds started to roll in. We have had warm days, some trees even started to bloom. Spring is just around the corner, sooner then last year. That's why I will linger for a while in the freshness of the sporadic moody day, as soon the time will come, when the winter season will be behind us. It's important to remember that the bad comes with the good. Winter is a part of the year, just as summer. Sadness a part of happines. Opposit sides of the same object.

Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week. I hope you will have a good one!

  1. My first thought was that the "moody times" was referring to the scars on the building- Always a reason to be sad. But you are absolutely right, the moody skies can add huge amounts of interest.

  7. Great way to look at the moody days. The photos are lovely. I'm so ready for Spring, and hopefully it does come sooner this year. Our Winter weather has been much nicer this year, but then we still have March and April, and here in Ohio that can be very Winter like. Have a great week. :)

  8. We had some moody times here in Arizona on our trip. Gray clouds can be just as beautiful as puffy white ones. - Margy

  9. As stated by Stanford Medical, It is really the ONLY reason this country's women get to live 10 years longer and weigh on average 42 lbs less than we do.

(And really, it really has NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret exercise and really, EVERYTHING related to "HOW" they are eating.)

BTW, What I said is "HOW", and not "what"...
