Autumn has arrived into these corners of the world, and lovely deep orange, dark green and yellow colors are to be seen everywhere. I took the following images on the upper stream of the river Neretva.
The river is naturally green here, because of the green algae that inhabit the river bed. I hope you will enjoy these and I wish you a happy Sunday.

Behind the hill, you will spot a train bridge.
The colors of autumn have taken over the mountains.
A reminder of what was...
How is the autumn season progressing where you live?
How gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! Where we are right now you wouldn't knot it is Autumn. We are on the high seas again in the Caribbean where everything is mostly blue. We so miss the Autumn colors when we are here.
ReplyDeleteFrom my perspective that sounds pretty nice, although I can imagine you miss the main land from time to time.
DeleteAlthough the terrain is different, the fall colors are similar to the banks of the Mississippi River during autumn. The colors make you happy to be alive.
ReplyDeleteI will look those up to compare!
DeleteThank you for sharing your autumn with us. Love seeing the fall colors around the world.
ReplyDeleteit looks so pretty next to the colorful leaves.
ReplyDeleteWow...just one word today....SPECTACULAR!!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful. I love to see the leaves turn. That river is really a bright green. I'm glad you explained why.
ReplyDelete:-)
Traci
beautiful shades of yellow and green!
ReplyDeleteI love the last leaf, that is a great photo!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors. The green river really brings out the trees. I'm not sure I've ever seen a green river except a man made one on St. Patty's Day.
ReplyDeleteThe river Neretva is know for it's green tint, but there is some deep blue somewhere in it too.
DeleteGorgeous, colorful captures, Mersad!! The river is incredible!! Thanks as always for sharing the beauty! Have a great new week!!
ReplyDeleteStunning photos! Train bridge... such a cool shot. The photo o the changing colors along the mountainside is simply breathtaking! So glad to have found you through Our Beautiful World.

ReplyDeleteHallo Mersad,
ReplyDeletedie Farben sind einfach der Knaller! LG aus Budapest :-)
Wundervoll! Der Herbst ist doch die schönste und fotogenste Jahreszeit...
ReplyDeleteThese beautiful mountains are certainly dressed in wonderful fall colors. Mountains have a beauty just not found on the prairie where we live. Interesting we both chose fall color to post today.
ReplyDeleteWow! That river is awesome! How I would love to see that for myself someday.... :)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful mix of colors in these shots! Our trees are starting to turn and a few are losing leaves already.

ReplyDeleteWhen you say the river is green, you mean it!!! The leaves are such wonderful colours!! I love the slopes and valleys in the mountains!!
ReplyDeleteI also love those autumncolours Mersad. and the green colour of the river is really special!
ReplyDeletegreetings from Belgium, Hilde
Pretty emerald green river ... and the yellows blend perfectly with it. What a lovely fall setting. Our fall is just starting. We still have a lot of green and many flowers are still blooming, but our trees are starting to turn and the leaves are making their way onto my lawn (sadly because I don't like raking :( But the fall's, not too hot and not too cool weather is always my favorite time. Thank you for sharing your fall with us ...

Lovely! It is colorful here in the mountains (as I can see from our backyard). Here in the valley some of the trees have changed colors but there's still a lot of green.
ReplyDeleteHello Mersad! Autumn looks very beautiful in your area! The autumn color is fading fast here --we expect snow to come soon. Colorado has many pine trees and aspens tree. The aspens turn color in September and are mostly gold and sometimes with slight amounts of orange or red.
ReplyDeleteStunning photos, Mersad! I'm still trying to catch up on my blogs - another family funeral to attend tomorrow. But the colors and that green water stole my heart.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how green the river is.
ReplyDeletelol, you could do an abstract of the second one and post it tomorrow in NF Abstract :)
ReplyDeleteThese are such beautiful photos ... Autumn in all it's glory! Thanks so much for sharing with us at OBW!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful and the color of the water is awesome! fall is really coming along here now but i'm worried we are going to lose all our leaves today...we have some severe thunderstorms for the day...hope the leaves pull through!
ReplyDeleteThe colour of the water is just amazing and what a beautiful contrast to those yellow trees. Fab shots!
ReplyDeleteMersad,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and views.
We don't have Fall in full-swing here, just yet.
I will post some photos when there are more colors.
Peace :)
Gorgeous shots...it's rainy here but the leaves are in transition and we are sure to have some spctacular colors♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/play-time/
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! Just lovely...so glad you can enjoy your Autumn season. We will have to drive somewhere in a more mountainous area to see any color and hope to do that soon.
ReplyDeleteStunning autumn photos! Such a beautiful scenery too in the mountains. Thank you for joining us at OBW!
