The days here are getting colder and colder, and the landscapes are quickly adjusting to the changes all around them. Herzegovina, which is the south part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, usually has milder winters. That's why you can go out and enjoy hikes in nature and surrounding mountains much longer then anywhere else (if you don't mind the cold).

These winter scenes in the mountains are a common sight right now.
Some flowers still remain, and are enjoying the light of the late sun.
Some fruits are lingering on the tree branches.
How is the winter treating you?
Beautiful Winter captures!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Mersad!
ReplyDeleteLovely scenes. Fun to see what winter looks like around the world!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenes!
ReplyDeleteit is wonderful how this year some flowers and fruit are still hanging on. It certainly has been milder this year. great shots. Sometime when you have a minute could you looks at my post of B& W shots which I posted yesterday (Wednesday) I would value your honest opinion..
ReplyDeleteThe bare trees are beautiful, and so are all of your photos in this post. I love to see these little snippets of your winter. Our winter is very rainy at the moment - something we really need after 36 months of severe drought.
ReplyDeleteIt is treating me badly. Thanks for the pictures.
ReplyDeleteNice photos, especially of the flowers. We're just getting lots of gray skies and rain here.
ReplyDeleteGood to see your forest photos where it is not locked in ice and snow. The sunflowers must be hearty to withstand the cold nights. With mild winters, your spring must also come early.
ReplyDeleteLovely nature photography ~ Mother Nature in all her splendor ~ no matter the Season!

Such pretty photos. Winter in the desert southwest is very mild. We have beautiful foliage on the trees and shrubs all year long. Since our summers are scorchers, the winter temperatures in the 60's and 70's (15c to 22c) seem cold to us. In fact, it was 52f (11c) this morning and I had on a scarf and coat.
ReplyDeletereally lovely! our winter has been mild (at least our december, so far.)
ReplyDeletethat fruit looks like natures Christmas ornament. beautiful.. and i like all the rocks in the first shot. also those beautiful bare trees
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty there, regardless. 19 degrees F here. We've been having ice and fog, oddly enough. :)
ReplyDeleteOur winter season so far has been very capricious! Last week we had a "heat wave" in the 40's and 50's, after a period of ice and snow, now we are back to frigid temperatures with snow that has turned to dirty gray. Ugh!!
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful touch with your camera. Winter is just chilly here....for the moment. The snow will come in January. It usually does.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenes.
ReplyDeleteYou don't want to hear from me about winter. Today was cool but I still wore shorts.

Looks much dryer than where I am on the West Coast of Canada. Parts of the interior of British Columbia look much like the pictures you have here today, even very similar foliage.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery and images, Mersad.. I love the view of the forest.. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteWinter can be quite beautiful, as you prove with your pictures. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo shot especially of the tiny daisies; so far there is no winter here and IF there is any this year it would be January (maybe). =0)
ReplyDeleteHappy Floral Friday
Winter's mild around here. I always hope for snow and am usually disappointed. A winter hike is so invigorating. Beautiful landscapes in your part of the world.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love to see the changing landscapes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Winters are usually mild over here, but even so I long for spring! :-)
ReplyDeleteI've left a comment on one of your Lisbon's posts but you might have missed it. Loved them.
