In the Mountains [Part 4/4]: Lunch and drive home

It's time to leave the mountains and return home. But before we do it's time to eat something after all that hiking.

This is a multi-part series. Other parts include:
Part One: The Journey into the Valley
Part Two: Still life in the Valley
Part Three: Return through the Forest
Part Four: Lunch and the drive Home

In this first image you can see end of the ski path. On the left side (not shows here) is the ski lift, that takes you to the top of the mountain.

But we were more interested for the ski center and restaurant called "Snow House".

The inside was still decorated from the recent New Years Eve celebration that was being held here. The interior is very rustic.

After we were finished with lunch, the day was already making place for the night, and the thick cloud bank engulfed the mountains.

This is the view of the valley from the other side. You can see the river Neretva flowing through the city, and Mostar in the distance.

  19. The massiveness and warmth of stone and wood is the perfect type of architecture. Love the place where you ate. The food looks good too! :-) You both look like you had a wonderful day! More gorgeous photos, too, of the valley in the dusk. Love them!

    1. Thank you. The dusk photos are dear to me, since they are so different. And I only could have taken them with the new camera, otherwise they wouldn't have turned out at all.
