There is no more beautiful light then the light of the golden hour, and almost no better location then the open sea. I took these during our summer vacation, and since they didn't fit any particular part of the recent travel series, I decided to spin them out into this post.

In the distance the Fortress of st. Nicholas can be seen, bathed in the light of the setting sun.
The small bay that we visited has small boats docked on a pier.

DeleteI like the sun setting behind that pretty tree and it is all about the light.. the last photo, the way the sun is lighting up the windows to the boats is my favorite part of that photo.
