The autumn season has just begun in my country, but the first glimpses of it are very fascintaing. On a drive yesterday I stopped on the outskirts of the village of Glogosnica. The weather was a bit damp but the sun still came through. I managed to snap these images at the perfect moment in time. It was somewhat chilly on the shores of the Grabovica Lake. The leaves slowly started turning color but most are still green. The old bridge was used as a railroad bridge a long time ago. Now it's a one way car bridge that connects the spot here the Glogosnica river merges into the Grabovica Lake. I eventually returned back to the car and made my drive down south towards Mostar. On my way I managed to snap one shot of the main road and the mountains surrounding it.
What does the Autumn Season look like in your corners of the world?
Lieber Mersad,
ReplyDeletedas sind wunderschöne Bilder, die die Herbststimmung richtig gut wieder geben. Man sieht, dass Du eine Auge für gute Motive hast.
Die Gegend ist auch sehr schön.
Viele liebe Grüße
Wolfgang

Nice photos of the foggy lake. That old bridge is cool too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, especially that mountain view!
ReplyDeleteAutumn is slow here this year- we had more than two and a half weeks of a warm spell in the latter part of September that seemed to slow the changing of colours.
Your part of the world is so beautiful, it would make anyone want to take up photography. Your photos make autumn look gorgeous even without an abundance of brilliant fall colors.
ReplyDeleteThe Autumn color (just now beginning) looks very much like ours here in Oregon (in the northwest corner of the US) ... but your pictures look so beautiful, like something out of a magical picture book! I'd love to visit your area (sigh, so many beautiful places, so little time ;))
ReplyDeleteAutumn looks similar today in Connecticut. Some trees have changed color, but most are still green. Very few trees have lost their leaves. The peak should occur in a week to ten days.
ReplyDeleteJust a beautiful country! the colors are so amazing
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots!
